Counterfeit claim review being denied - Despite proof it's a false claim. Can anyone shed light...

Going around in circles with Amazon. We've been selling this particular product for a couple of years with no isse. The branding was correct etc. However, we got a counterfeit claim against us last week. The information for the company making the report doesn't match the item or the actual trademark in any way, but Amazon are refusing to actually look at this properly and just keep sending me the bog standard reply...

For clarity. The brand of the item being sold is "Sew Easy". In the world of sewing here in teh UK, most people will know it. We stock a fair bit of their stuff.

The conterfeit claim is coming from a company called "Shopper's Freedom".

All Sew Easy items we purchase are from the manufacturer of said products. I've provided Amazon the actual trademark info for the product to no avail.

I contacted the wholesaler (and manufacturer) and they're trying with no luck to get in touch with the company that have filed the claim. (They haven't responded to my emails either).

There were plenty of other sellers ont eh listing, who I have no doubt were legitimate sellers of the product, all of whom have been forced off the listing by a seller who's willing to lie to get everyone removed. I really don't understand how Amazon can let someone change a brand and then have everyone kicked off using a completely different trademark?

It's stressing me the hell out. And all I can think is that if they've managed it with one listing, they're likely to be doing it to others (and potentially on more of ours when they realise it's worked!)

I'm not good at looking up details from an EAN, but when I tried with this one I got it being registered as having been issued in the UK, but having no details applied to the catalogue for it.

If I've not failed utterly to find information that is there, I'd guess they had an easy time getting the info changed simply because there was nothing in the GS1 database to conflict with it.
