Listing Inactive even though I have available quantity?
I have had this product on Amazon for several years. Today I awoke to find that the listing is ‘inactive’. I have a quantity of this item and it doesn’t say ‘Inactive (out of stock)’ …just ‘inactive’.
The listing is still on Amazon but showing with the usual…‘currently out of stock…’ message as there are no other sellers of this item.
I have no notifications, no messages, no suspension notices or warnings etc…
Any ideas why this has happened?

Usually when you go into your inactive page if it’s been blocked unless fba, or supressed or any of the other reasons that requires action it will say. If it doesn’t say anything it may just be a glitch. There were a few posters saying a few months ago that they weren’t getting any sales and on checking their accounts found they were in holiday mode buth they hadn’t put them into it. So I think these things so sometimes randomly happen without ever finding out how or why.
Burning question is will it relist ok?

An update…
It now states that I need approval to sell that product?? It is one of many products that I sell in that category - so why have they just made one inactive? Will I wake up tomorrow to the rest of them all inactive (like they did with DVD’s a few years ago?)
FYI it is Pet supplies / Bird / Toys
When I click to ‘request approval’ it states they are not taking applications at this time.

I did a daily inventory report only to discover that nearly all this stock is located in ORY4 fulfillment centre. This is just south of Paris. It keeps switching between stranded and ‘Inactive (Out of stock)’.
It is actually stranded in an FC that is currently closed due to the lock-down in France.
