AWD Box Labels unique to shipment or standard to SKU?

I would like to know from someone who knows and is not guessing whether the AWD Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) Box Labels are unique to this shipment or standardized to the SKU and Box Quantity.

The shipment has to be prepared and palletized at the warehouse in ShenZhen but it needs to be shipped from the warehouse in California after being shipped there by sea. Can't use Amazon Global Logistics for that part. Consequently I do not have a freight ready date for pickup in Cali.

I want to put the box labels on now but then create this shipment once the units arrive at the warehouse in Cali 4-5 weeks from now. Can a create a shipment to generate the box labels and then cancel that shipment to make a new one after they arrive in Cali? Or will that case these supposedly standardized labels to be changed when the shipment is changed?

Hello @Seller_QjEwwl6TCFgZi, I received some guidance from the AWD team. It is as follows:

The SSCC labels are unique for each shipment and are assigned to a single shipment. We do not recommend that sellers paste the SSCC label of a canceled shipment on the cartons. Just an additional note, once the seller creates the shipment, it remains open for 90 days, meaning the seller has 90 days to deliver that shipment to AWD.
