Error 5995: "You may not change the brand name on this ASIN.Use the brand name currently shown on the ASIN detail page." ---- Do Not Know How to Fix This
I tried to upload the product template file to sell the same listing on Amazon.fr as on Amazon.de.
I filled in the blanks as correct as I can, including the correct brand name. Our brand name already has a GTIN exemption in the catalog we tried to sell.
However, after I uploaded the template file, it showed the error 5995, saying “You may not change the brand name on this ASIN.Use the brand name currently shown on the ASIN detail page.”
What’s more, I cannot even edit the listing on Amazon.de. As long as I open the edit page, it shows the error 5995 and I was unable to edit anything.
I have contacted Amazon Seller Support for help and update the brand name attribute by uploading the catalog template file as they requested. But it did not work.
I’d much appreciate it if someone can help me with this issue. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked to see if the asin is already available in France and Germany
If so, is the brand name correct ?
Is it your brand and if so, do you have an eu trademark and brand registry in EU ?
