Help with Citizen Printer

Hi all how do i make my labels darker as for some reason they have started coming out very light and very hard to read, i have been in the graphic setting of the printer and changed things there but still no luck

Its Citizen CL-S521

Go to Printer & Scanners on your computer
Select Citizen and manage
Printer Preferences
Graphics (tabs at top) - Change Dithering to none
Options (tabs at top) -
1 printer speed make sure its the slowest it can be, you may to select the use current printer settings a unclick it
2.Printer head temp select send with job and increase the slider up

try this it worked for me

Assuming its a laser… if it was working fine, and with NO CHANGES its now printing very pale, my suggestion would be low toner - take it out and shake it gently - or the drum needs replacing.
