Customer Scam Alert? Changing Refund Reasons to Get Free Products!
Has anyone else experienced this?
We had a customer initially request a refund, claiming that "the item does not fit" (which didn’t make sense for this type of product). Then, just a day later, they changed their reason to "poor quality."
It seems some customers are abusing Amazon’s lenient return policy to get free products. First, they pick a reason that sounds "safe," then later switch it to something subjective like "poor quality" to guarantee the refund is approved.
Is Amazon aware of this tactic, and are they doing anything to prevent it? Honest sellers are being taken advantage of, and it looks like we don’t have much protection against this kind of behavior.
If you've seen similar behavior or have any insight on how Amazon is handling this, feel free to share. It’s time for sellers to be heard on this issue.
