Listing Removed because of customer complaints

One of our listings was removed because of customer complaints that the products came broken and the size is smaller than expected. This is an FBA product, do you think Amazon is also somehow responsible for this matter, since they handle the products from packing to shipping to customers? As for the size, we have a video showing how small it is.

FBA is not responsible for product safety. You are required to ship your items to FBA in such a way, they can handle a 3 foot drop on any side or edge, without damage

You should try selling Italian pasta sauces through FBA. The good Italian sauces come in glass containers...and FBA breaks ALL of them.

I know of someone selling 24 packs of coconut oil. You think this would not break since its not glass.

Turns out the packaging is not strong enough to withstand the transport from FBA to the customer and the listing was removed due to customer complaints.

The listing was reactivated after the brand owner improved packaging to be able to withstand the journey from FBA to the customer.

As you mentioned this was a result of a customer complaint surrounding broken and smaller than expected sizes. The first initial question I have is how well the product description including sizes or dimension are? Do they accurately describe the product in question and match the products dimension? Can you advise on the ASIN mentioned in the complaint so I can look over the product information, potentially offering more guidance or suggestions on improvements.

Typically, in these situations if you can show proof that you properly pack and ship your products you can provide dispute information that confirms your efforts to verify compliance. Should this however be a situation where there can be improvements to the listing or packaging, you will need to appeal with the reason for the complaint and the efforts you've made to correct the situation. Can you advise on what you've provide so far?

As mentioned by @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI, prior to shipping the product to the fulfillment centers, what efforts do you take to confirm your products quality? I also want to inquire on what type of product packaging or packing you provide when shipping them into the fulfillment center, do you prep your own product for shipment to the fulfillment center? You can additionally review our policy on how to prepare your products for FBA shipping. A note from this policy page:

  • Important: Determining the type of preparation required to ship your products safely to Amazon is your responsibility, even if prep guidance for your specific products is not available in the Send/replenish inventory workflow.

As a final inquiry, how often do you check your listings for accuracy, have there been any changes in the listing details that may create a concern with the buyers about the size of the product?

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
