Urgent Request to Accelerate Account Review

Dear Amazon Team,

I am writing to ask for help in speeding up the review of our Amazon account.

Our VAT number has been used since 2016 and is still valid. However, we received a notice in February saying that the name on our VAT number does not match the name in the Amazon seller account. This is because the UK tax authority left out “Co., Ltd” from our registered name, but the main name is still the same.

We have used this VAT number for almost 10 years without any problems. We have already applied to the UK tax authority to update the name, but it usually takes 3 to 6 months. Amazon only gave us 60 days to fix this, which is not enough time.

Other UK sellers with similar issues have had their VAT numbers accepted after contacting Amazon. We sent the same documents to Amazon, but we got a standard reply without proper review.

We have always followed the rules, and the sudden suspension has hurt our business. We have opened two cases in the Amazon backend (Case ID: 11016924442 and 11035597202), but we have not heard back yet.

Please help us by speeding up the review and restoring our account as soon as possible. Thank you very much!
