I want to make a complaint - Case #5044523262

I would like to make a complaint about the complete lack of assistance I am receiving from Seller Support with regards to my case.

My most recent update to my case which included my appeal to have listings reinstated has not been replied to and the case (5044523262) has been closed as ‘answered’. Below is the appeal I posted in my case.

PLEASE CAN ANYBODY READING THIS TELL ME IF THE BELOW INFORMATION IS TOO DIFFICULT OR COMPLICATED FOR ANYONE TO UNDERSTAND?

HERE IS MY DETAILED PLAN THAT IDENTIFIES THE CAUSE OF THE VIOLATION
I have 5 listings that were deactivated because I shipped age restricted products without using a permitted age verification delivery service. I did this because I couldn’t find a
courier in the UK that offered this as a service, but was assured by the
courier I used that they didn’t allow anyone under 18 to sign for or
accept deliveries. Amazon disagreed with this and deactivated my
listings.

HERE IS MY DETAILED PLAN THAT SETS OUT HOW I WILL ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH
AMAZON’S POLICIES IN THE FUTURE.
Over 2 weeks ago now I arranged for the stock of the 5 listings to be sent to
Amazon FBA to be fulfilled by Amazon. All the stock for these items is
now with Amazon FBA. I will no longer be dispatching the items myself
because they will be fulfilled and dispatched by Amazon FBA, presumably
by a age-restriction compliant courier service that Amazon uses.

Amazon didn’t have any problem with me sending the stock for said
listings to FBA, so I assume that they wouldn’t have a problem in
dispatching them in the correct manner that complies with their own
policies.

Surely the fact that the orders will now be fulfilled by Amazon FBA
means that the reason for the listings becoming deactivated now no
longer applies because I will not be dispatching the items myself!

CAN ANYBODY IN THE WORLD TELL ME IF WHAT I AM DOING NOW CONSTITUTES COMPLIANCE WITH AMAZON’S POLICIES? Because Amazon don’t seem to know what to do about this and I am just getting ignored by them.

I apologise for the capital letters.

Oh Dear!
That plan is not going to work, and by sending age restricted goods to FBA you may have landed yourself in more trouble

Why do you “assume” that Amazon will use an age restriction courier? They do not do so. [AKAIK]
Your plan is also not a proper POA and would never be accepted in it’s current state.

You need to address the three main points
1: What went wrong i.e You wrongly sent age restricted products without using the correct service.

2: What corrective steps you have taken. i.e Stopped dispatching age restricted products, closed those listings to prevent further purchases from being made, sourced a new and reliable courier who is compliant with the policy [name the courier and service they provide], retrained your staff in the regulations, read the Amazon policies regarding this to ensure you are compliant, package all such orders appropriately so that the age restriction is obvious, etc

3: What plans will you put in place to ensure that you remain compliant? i.e Ongoing monitoring of the dispatch method used for age restricted items, ongoing training of staff, monitoring of the signature capture rate of the couriers to ensure it is always 100%, etc

You are currently NOT compliant, will need to create a removal order for your goods [if Amazon permit this, the goods are not bladed products I hope, or you may find yourself in a hazmat loop]

Once you have your goods back and you have sourced a compliant courier submit your rewritten plan

Amazon do not fulfill age restricted goods, you better ask them to destroy them before this faux pas turns against you too.

From your post it sounds like you are unable to fulfill the Amazon’s requirement of shipping your goods using a permitted age verification delivery service.

So, I don’t think that working on a Plan of Action will do any help.

Have the goods removed from FBA, delete them from your inventory and find something different to sell.

Took me about 5 minutes to determine that FedEX and DPD both offer age verification deliveries. You need to be a specialist in your business and be aware of the relevant laws and how to comply with them.

You are selling items that are restricted and thereforre potentially harmful to minors but you seem to have a very lax approach to your responsibilities.

ive seen plastic knifes on amazon like for matrial arts traning, and also a knife blacks as well
anybody can purchase them no matter what age they are,as i cant see the buyer or verify their age if they are buying online,so how on earth can you tell what age they are?
