I want sell products with NO BRAND, do I need a whitelist or approve ?

I found some information that mentioned, I need a trademark or brand before upload products or apply a brand for whitelist. But I want sell products is painting, NO BRAND, do I need to :

1. Create a brand name and then use it to apply whitelist ?

2. If needed, how to apply ? I searched help and seller university, no information about whitelist.

3. Is it better apply a brand for long-term ?

Thank you for your help

if it’s an unbranded product, you can list it as Generic when creating the listing. Doing it manually there is even a tickbox that states ‘this product has no brand’ or something similar.

If you did want to brand one of your products, you must do so the first time that product is listed. You can’t change a listing from generic to branded later on.

To register a brand just look up Amazon brand registry
