Selling Xbox Games From Individual Account!
Hello guys ,
I am not in this business .
But managed to get 50 Xbox games so would like to resell them on Amazon .
I will arrange shipping on my own.
Got a few questions thought if anyone could help:
*Can I do it from individual account ? Is there any restriction with this type of account about selling in this category ?
*Do I need some sort of receipt to prove that I bought them officially ?
*Will I be getting the money instantly in my account ? Or it comes with delays ?
Additionally if anyone can advice what would be the best way to this I’ll be so thankful .
Thanks to anyone taking time to answer this topic.
Kindest regards,
Ed

A word of caution:
If you bought these games with the intention of re-selling them, you are trading and are liable to pay tax on any income derived from selling them.
“Managed to get” covers a multitude of possibilities. If you bought them from a legitimate source, you should have no problem listing them - although Amazon could ask to see a receipt from your supplier. If they are stolen goods/fell off the back of a lorry/you got them from some bloke down the pub, listing them could be more problematic. And not just with Amazon.
If you do sell them, Amazon may not release your funds immediately. All new sellers are likely to have funds retained for at least 30 days, or until they have established a track record of positive feedback. This is part of the Amazon buyer protection, designed to protect buyers against fly-by-night sellers who fail to deliver or to meet customer expectations.

your account will be suspended and no one will even reply from amazon as they sit in USA and dont bother to resolve any seller queries and then you have to take the support of UK law to get your account and money back from Amazon. Amazon is bad place for sellers

I think you’d do better selling them on eBay. If you haven’t secured them through authorised wholesale channels you have no invoice that Amazon would accept to prove the games are genuine and legit. As far as other people’s experience goes, receipts from stock clearance, lot purchases and such will not be acceptable.
A single counterfeit claim against you would most likely see you permanently suspended and any funds you have made withheld by Amazon.

Listen, don’t do this to yourself, just sell them on Ebay. As someone who buys video games, I would never buy them from anyone who isn’t a big name recognisable shop (on Amazon). If you’re selling them cheap enough, it then becomes suspicious and I still wouldn’t buy from you. Ebay is another story altogether and I expect to buy second hand games and job lots of there.

No one has yet pointed out that if you do manage to list these items but haven’t sold them all by the time the Holiday selling restrictions come into place then your ability to sell in the Toys and Games category could be withdrawn if you haven’t met the requirements, so you would be unable to sell any more until after Christmas.

Are they used or new?. If new sell as used like new. But you will need to sell at least half of them before October 1st to continue in the Christmas period. If used sell as the appropriate description level.
I say this because you should not need to give any supply receipts for NONE brand new items. As long as you don’t list them as such.

Yes, you can provided the title is not restricted, in which can you can’t without approval (normally requires invoices from an authorised distributor, not retail invoices).
Only if Amazon request such invoices, if for example you had claimd for inauthentic goods, but otherwise as above.
No, new accounts have delayed disbursements, you will have to wait on payment.
As pointed out Christmas restrictions will likely cut short your ability to sell?
As also pointed out, giving the Christmas restrictions on Toys and Games, ebay may offer a better alternative and I say that from my own experience of selling games.

It would not be worth the risk Selling these items on Amazon, as a new Seller, if you are able to list these which tend to be in a restricted category, Amazon will not disburse funds for a period in any event normally , in addition if there is a single authenticity or product complaint Amazon will potentially suspend the account and withold the funds for a longer period or indefinitely. For Video Games Ebay is the better option as the price and fees are similar without the potential risks involved.
