RoyalMail delivered but not received

Hi,

I have a customer who has had a package delivered by Royal Mail, but they claim they haven’t received it.

The tracking GPS shows it was delivered in that area but they haven’t got it.

As a seller, what position does this leave me in and what do I do?

Thank you

unfortunately you won’t have much luck if they go to a-z but i would respond asking them to check with household members and neighbours and send the link to the tracking
state as that it shows as delivered, you’ll need to raise a case with RM to investigate and they’ll speak with the postman that delivered it

I was told you or customer can contact the delivery depot and speak to manager (not postie) who can tell you within 3meters where the parcel was left / delivered and who by via the gps tracking.
From my claim re non delivery Royal Mail won’t do anything with a claim for delivery confirmation unless fully tracked service.

Royal Mail are able to check the GPS with a higher degree of accuracy than shown on the tracking, they normally accept a claim if this item is scanned more than 80 feet from the correct location. We are seeing a lot of problems at the moment with Royal Mail delivering to wrong location.
