Since Amazon Handmade does not seem to have a specific category for bookmarks I would probably choose this category -

Handmade Products > Stationery & Party Supplies >

Stationery: Books & Journals

It is correct that Amazon Handmade has fewer categories than the standard Amazon Catalog so you should find the category that best represents your products. The category recommended by @Seller_hfmMmH8f6bDeQmay be the most appropriate, however you could also reach out to the Handmade Sellers in the Handmade Group of the forums for their opinions as well. Let me know if you have any other questions.
