Issue with Brand Registry and migrating to Amazon North America
Hi all
So I’ve been selling on Amazon Europe for several months, have my own brand registered under a UK trademark.
I’ve recently expanded my account and taken a North America subscription with the aim of selling there too.
The issue I have is that I’ve only been able to list the Generic items I sell in Europe. Whenever I attempt to list one of my own items, I get;
“5461: You may not create new ASINs for this brand”
I’ve checked the Brand Registry on the .com site and it all appears to be showing correctly. Has anyone come across this issue before?
Thanks
Steve

For future reference in the thread should anyone need it, I have resolved this. Brand Registry was only connected to my Europe Merchant Token. There is a different Token for each market place. I asked a ‘Technical’ query to Brand Registry support, provided them with both Merchant Tokens and advised the NA one needed to be added to Brand Registry.

Is your trademark registered in US ?
A UK trademark only covers brand registry in UK
