SIOC (Ship in own container)
Hi,
We have products that are sent into Amazon warehouses in boxes that are ready to ship, thus not requiring an Amazon outer box when shipped to customer. I have contacted support and they say there is no seller approval process and its monitored by the CPEX (Customer Packaging Experience) Team.
Has anyone had any success by requesting to get this approved? I couldnt find any such information.

Isn’t there anoption to have it shipped in it’s own packaging, Something to do with being green?

@Norma_Snockers cant see where there is an option to select ship in own packaging, Amazon support keep saying its monitored by a team and they enrol if it meets eligibility but there is not a seller request process.

I was invited to join the SIOC program a couple of years ago for my top selling line. There would have been a saving of 10p or so in FBA fees (from memory) but after reading up about it:
- There was a need for an independent paid-for test to confirm suitability
- I needed to put the item in a box, not the polybag it currently reaches Amazon in (and ships as FBM)
So, thanks for but no thanks
