Seller Fulfilled Prime - Amazon trying to stop Buyers?
How many others having this issue, stopping sales?
Major issue is over a weekend, and I have noticed this is for items I am Buying as well, so expect cancellations and Buyers to go elsewhere. (It has been happening for a while and no fix by Amazon, as usual!). A Buyer is looking at a SFP item, from after the cut-off time on Thursday, to be shipped on Friday, showing a delivery date of next Tuesday! - so it will take 4 days to deliver Amazon are saying, which is not correct of course. In reality, most parcels as being sent on a 1-day delivery on Friday, will arrive on Saturday, and if any late, they should arrive on Sunday (if shipped by Royal Mail, Evri and DPD - and I assume Amazon Courier too).
So, how did Amazon get to Tuesday? - even if you ignore Sunday, although that is now a courier working day so it should count, it could show 'Saturday or Monday'.
Even if a day late, it should show as delivery on Sunday. Or even better show delivery as Saturday or Sunday. It would be even better if Amazon showed 'Estimated delivery Saturday' rather than a delivery date, which seems set in stone when you order.
MODS: Can you get Amazon to alter to be correct with delivery dates, as it causes issues for Buyers as well as Sellers losing orders.
As a Buyer, the delivery date issue that Amazon are causing is a real pain. Amazon are showing long delivery dates, because maybe a few parcels are not delivered the next day, even if shipped on time.
If FBA though, virtually 100% show a 1-day delivery, which is not correct, why should FBA be ok and not SFP, using the same couriers? - Because in reality FBA are often late, but the Seller is not penalised, whereas, on SFP, the couriers AMAZON say we must use, if they are late, it counts against the Seller.
EXAMPLE as a Buyer: I bought something from a Seller in South Devon (SFP), to come to me (206-3675207-1066753). On SFP, I ordered on Wednesday 4 December and Amazon showed the delivery date would be Saturday 7 December. So, Amazon showed the parcel will take 3 days to deliver on SFP for that Seller. We had a message sent on time using Evri, we assumed Evri were not coping well, so a 3 day delivery, so did not stay in on Thursday 5 December, but of course, it arrived on 5 December, just 1 day after shipping, as it should have done. So, Amazon saying it would take 3 days, and it took 1 day causes problems for Buyers.
EXAMPLE as a Seller: We have only had 4 late deliveries in the last 7 days (all sent on time, and those 4 were just 1 day late). However, Amazon are warning Buyers it takes longer to deliver than usual. On Wednesday 4 December it showed a delivery on Friday 6 December, so all my Buyers may not have stayed in, as they thought the parcel would not arrive until Friday, ALL were delivered on Thursday of course, 1 day after shipping.
Surely, Amazon 'should' if parcels are occassionally being delivered late, just show a delivery date of 5 to 6 December, if shipping on 4 December, as that way Buyers would track a parcel and stay in, as most will arrive in 1 day.
The issue with all items on SFP showing a delivery next Tuesday, is an even worse issue.
If sending on Premim 1-day though, then it shows a faster delivery than Prime, as all those show as 1 day deliveries. Even the 2-day Premium how a delivery by Monday.
Others having the same issues, I assume SS just ignore as always?

Same Issue here it's been ongong for a week. It's really hurting sales and in my opinion it is breaching the commitment Amazon made to Competition and Markets Authority, by not allowing fair access to the buy box by priortising Amazon FBA over 3PL shippers.
All my metrics are fine and I've had no cmmunication why the delivery promise has been padded out and increased. Infact my metrics state the increasing the delivery promise makes little difference to my delivery performance.
I've got a case open on 29/11 (10563040372) but had no response , and I'll be making a complaint to the CMA.
