Custom products packing slip help - thumbnails possible?

Hi all,

We have been producing custom printed items, and I need a little help if possible please?

We print business cards, so I’ll use this as an example:

John Smith order cards for his girlfriend Mary Jones, her details are on the printed card, but his details are on the invoice and packing slip.

Is there a way to print a thumbnail or something to help identify the card? The system we have doesn’t scale - taking a look at the artwork and WRITING some identifying detail onto the printed sheet, but when we have a lot of orders, for example after a weekend, then its very inefficient.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Aaron

Very briefly thinking about it, it would seem the thing to do is to keep the packing slip all the way through production - attached in some way, or to attach the order number to the production batch. I think you need to configure your processes to what Amazon give you.

Just a thought.
