Well known branded item sold as a bundle but under the sellers name?

Hi all,

I have come across quite a profitable listing which has no other sellers on but does say I am eligible so i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

Basically it is a very well known brand however the amazon account selling it has just made it into a 5x multipack but on the page it states their account name as the brand. The pictures have the 'actual' branding on too and I am eligible to sell it. Would the other seller be able to make any claims against me or can I jump on it?

Thanks

The other seller could hit you with a copyright claim (or similar) and you would need to provide an invoice that showed the brand name on the listing (ie the other seller). Which of course you wouldn't be able to do.

I'd steer clear - and report the listing - not htat amazon will do anything with that.

I have seen so many of them. It's annoying as it's unfair competition and it's even worse when they manage to list under their own brand (often fake) but with the correct EAN. How they can do that is a mystery to me as when I create listing the EAN must match the name of the brand. That means I can't sell that product on Amazon because I will never have invoices for FHHTYJJJJ Ltd or whatever.

i'd be reporting that for intelectural property rights, i keep getting them when i list on an actual genuine item.
