Can I use the barcode EAN barcode as a previously deleted product?
I created a new product, yet to be shipped to Amazon.
I used our internal SKU that was used for a previous product we sold, now deleted from Amazon.
This is causing issues. I cannot set the product weight or size, no matter how many updates I do. It’s pulling the information from the old product.
So I want to delete the listing, and create it again with an SKU never previously used.
Before I do that, will the listing create OK? Or will Amazon pick up that the barcode was previously used on a different listing?

You can’t delete the listing, it stays in Amazons catalogue, possibly forever
You should be able to reuse the old sku on a new listing, but you will need to make a new product page, which you will need a new EAN for.

Hello Dedez
I have indeed re-used the old SKU number, as described above.
But it is causing issues - fetching the old product weight and dimension, despite updating the new listing.
So the FBA fee is not calculated correctly.

You misunderstand.
This is not the same product, so the EAN (GS1 barcode) is completely different.
Amazon is erroneously using the product weight & dimension from the old SKU (960 in this case).

Then like I said… send it into amazon and request a remeasure if that’s the only problem
