Pro/Freight number for shipment problem ‘Missing tracking information (less than truckload/full truckload shipments)’

I was wondering if we could get some advice?

We are currently using the Palletline network member Mike Watson Transport (MWT) to transport our Amazon FBA shipments. Now although they are Palletline members, we always prepare the shipment as a ‘non-partner carrier’ as they ahve asked us to do this. After this, we provide MWT with our FBA ID and BOL number, then they sort the rest.

Up until a month ago we have not needed to enter in tracking information for our pallets despite the October 2021 new tracking rules (we send anywhere from 2-10 pallets a week). However, now we have had multiple issues with:

Shipment-level problems - Missing tracking information (less than truckload/full truckload shipments)

Looking in our shipping que it seems that we need to enter a ‘Pro/Freight’ number. I have asked MWT for advice on what this could be and they are unsure, and want us to get in touch with Palletline. Problem is Palletline say that as they are partnered, we do not require this.

In the meantime I have added in our FBA ID into the ‘pro/freight’ box and this seems be accepted and shows the pallet as shipped. See below:

Has anyone had similar experience? Does entering the FBA ID as the pro/frieght number sound like the correct thing to do?

Many Thanks

You do need to enter the tracking number for the shipment.
If your going through palletline, then they always provide one.

For the BOL number, enter the FBA shipment ID.
And for the Pro/Freight number, enter the tracking number of the shipment.

PalletOnline are partnered with Amazon and as such, are not required to get a signature or stamp on the POD. But otherwise, it’s no different than any other courier.
