Amazon randomly selecting 1st class postage option
For the last 2 weeks every day Amazon stops me selecting 2nd class postage on some orders but allows it on others. My cut off time is 2pm post next day yet this evening 2 out of 6 orders only had 1st class postage options…one order was 6pm so way past the cut off time earlier orders ie 3 and 4 pm were allowed 2nd class postage and all are UK mainland addresses…it makes no sense to me and I cannot find any option to alter it…anyone had this before??

It will be postcode based.
If they don’t offer you 2nd class to an order its because they think the delivery will be delayed and won’t reach that particular customer in time.
Some people have mentioned that if they try again the next day sometimes 1st class is offered again (I assume because the customers local sorting office is no longer showing delays)
If it is happening regularly and becoming a problem, your only options are to change your delivery time, or your handling time to allow a days buffer on the delivery date.
