Hope someone can help. We listed some food supplements and Amazon have requested HACCP certificate for compliance. We obtained one from the manufacturer (although it was under his name and not the company) but it was rejected. Another seller of the same products has had theirs approved (as we have jumped on their listing now) using the same compliance document that we had! Any ideas how this has happened? i checked with the manufacturer and they confirmed that they sent the other seller the same document. i just don't get how they can approve a listing and reject another based on the exact same document.
I tried to appeal but I just get an automated reply so no-one is actually reading my message. Im at a loss what to do now as we rarely get a sale on the other sellers listing as they keep lowering their price......

Firstly you need to forget about how the other seller was able to get it approved, if he even has, it may be that he has not had to as yet, you will never know as Amazon would not divulge this information.
From my understanding they will not approve a document that is from a person, it would need to be from the company on official letterhead, in order to prove authenticity, surely if you are purchasing this from a reputable source, then this should not be a problem, to me it sounds very suspicious to be honest, so fully understand why Amazon have knocked it back.
