If your Order Defect Rate is 7.69% with one complaint, it would indicate that you’ve had about 14 orders in the past 60 days. At that pace, your account health score is indeed unlikely to go above 200. In fact, with an ODR like that, it might just go down.

To get to a health score of 1000 in lets say 200 days, you’d need to have 200 error-free orders every day! Good luck.

If you only have one ODR that usually will not deactivate your account. Your ODR will go back to normal after 60 days when that defect is no longer counted.

As for Health, 200 is the base level of a healthy account and will be increased by 4 points for every 200 sales in the last 6 months.

Order defect rate is the amount of orders in a 60 day period divided by defective orders. So 1 our of 14 orders got an order defect.

13 orders divided by 14 = 92.85% of your orders were ok, 7.15% of your orders had a defect.

You will have to either successfully appeal the A to Z claim or get the negative feedback removed only if it is eligible for removal.

The account health rate is a rolling total sales velocity measurement over the last 180 day period. Every 200 sales you get increases your health by 4 points.

So you will have to have around 40000 orders in the next 180 days to get up to 1000 Account Health, and you would have to maintain that velocity, otherwise the account health rate will start dropping down.

Fixing the ODR will depend on if this is something that can be successfully disputed. was this complaint a claim, feedback? What was the nature of the complaint? You mentioned a misconception, can you further clarify if this was a listing or product related issue? If this can be disputed the impact can be reversed but varies greatly for each situation.

If the issue cannot be disputed, the impact will typically only last while still within the 60-day window as many have advised. The window as of today is Apr 30, 2024 - Jun 28, 2024. This includes the order date, not the date of the complaint. This will allow you to calculate when a specific item will fall out of the calculation and improve the over all rating.

As this was a few days ago, has your order defect rate improved, are you still at risk, or was the account deactivated?

As everyone has almost mentioned, improving the account health rating is order volume based. Every 200 completed orders without issues will add 4 points to your score. keep in mind during peak sales, if this is not maintained, expect a drop off in the score after 6 months as order volume needs to be maintained to keep a specific rating.

You can find more on this and our calculations on the account health rating FAQ help page.
