Fba shipment, UPS status : Hold for collection requested.
Hi everyone, has anyone had the following UPS status for a FBA parcel sent to Coventry fulfilment centre. " Hold for collection requested". Is this a sign the shipment is lost? The parcel was posted 12 days ago now. Thanks all

It usually means at the point the parcel should have been delivered, the fulfilment centre was too busy and couldnt take it

We normally ship out every Monday. Our shipments go to Coventry and will show tracking as Held for Future Delivery Date. By Friday or Sat we normally get an email saying it's going through receiving.
I don't think a shipment has ever got straight in after us shipping.

There have been issues for the last 6 weeks or so. Whereas before we had delivery next time every time - now it's just not. 2 attempted deliveries then the same status as yours. We've then gone through the claims procedure and delivered next day.
