frozen funds

Like many others we had a UK VAT verification on the 25th of January.

We submitted the docs several times over and sought the help other relevant government people. They were really helpful, responded quickly and helped us fill out the forms.

We received the following email on 5 March.

Hello,

Thank you for your submission regarding the business establishment verification that is associated with your value-added tax (VAT).

We have reviewed the information that you provided and we confirm that your disbursement will be released within the next payment cycle.

Until today we have not been able to get our frozen disbursements.

This is really stressful and I would like to know how long it took everyone to get your frozen funds after getting verified? We really can't hold out much longer. I still need to pay salaries, rent and various bills. I don't know many businesses that can continue with such a shortage of cash flow.

So helpless, checking the forums every day and seeing everyone releasing funds we were confident at first but I can't seem to hold out any longer, it's all really hard to face these bills

Many sellers have contacted liz.barclay(@)smallbusinesscommissioner.gov.uk or managingdirector(@)amazon.co.uk due to no response from Amazon seller support. Hope this helps!

We are in a completely identical position, very stressful. I get generic answers to cases, all documentation submitted multiple times, no solution in sight for almost 60 days.

I hope that it will be resolved soon because after more than 20 years of business we will not be able to pay our obligations on time for the first time.
