Delivery after Christmas on all my listings. Why?
I am a uk marketplace seller and this by far my busiest time of year. Suddenly I discovered yesterday that all my buy box winning listings are saying delivery after Christmas when I have at least until Friday 18th to dispatch items for Xmas delivery even by standard delivery. Obviously order numbers have dropped dramatically.
My default handling time is set at 1 to 2 days. I was told by Amazon yesterday that there is a handling box in each individual listing in my inventory which I need to edit (I never knew about this and I have been selling on Amazon for over 10 years). I edited about 50 of my listings over 24 hours ago now and nothing has changed so far. I strongly suspect it will make no difference. I can see other Amazon Marketplace sellers are still getting delivery estimates before Christmas for standard delivery so I know it’s not just a blanket thing for COVID.
I think this is my 11th Christmas selling on Amazon and never had this issue before. My Performance shows no issues. What is going on?

Yes it’s definitely location. If I set the delivery address to Birmingham (which is also struggling at the moment) it’s 30th Dec to 4th Jan. If I set the delivery to Cumbria (which seems to be ok) the delivery is 26th Dec to 30th Dec
So definitely a location issue - including yours

I am looking at listings where marketplace sellers who have won the Buy Box and seeing standard delivery 17 -18th Dec so I can’t see how it’s based on my delivery address

I rarely have higher than 1% buybox on UK, sometimes zero. Sales are good.

I don’t it’s the buy box so much - it’s the fact that all items are saying delivery after Christmas when you look at our offer. There has been a massive drop off in sales since Friday when it started showing this

I discovered it as well though do not have Buy box- shows 5 days after sale comes through before shipping! I now have decided to add to all my descriptions “same or next day shipping”

I would quickly update your handling time for all items to 1 day (you can do this via upload and it takes place within 1 hour). Then check the delivery times in your shipping settings.
So, I have a handling time of 1 day and a UK delivery time of 3-5 days, so my delivery estimate is still before Christmas
