(URGENT) OTP ERROR
Hello everyone!
We encounter problems or errors when logging in to Amazon UK. We have two phone numbers for authentication request but the problem is, we can't request an OTP because it says" something went wrong, please wait for one minute before requesting". Even if we wait for a minute or two, we still receive the same error message and there's no box to fill in OTP as well. Does someone experience this also?
What can we do to fix this?

there were a lot of complaints a while back.
It doesn’t help with your current situation but I would highly suggest moving to using a 2FA app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
These don’t require mobile signal to work and I’ve never had an issue.

Hi @Seller_Ah6FY2VmO2hEA,
We are aware of the OTP issue, which has been addressed to our partner team.
Team is working on the improvement. Thank you for the case ID, I will follow up.
@Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh, thank you for the support and work around advice, which works for other sellers as well.
Kind regards,
Julia.

Hi, this happened to me earlier in the year and they said they were aware of a problem. If I recall I turned off my phone and re-started it and the laptop and it suddenly cleared the issue and it was back to normal. May have just been a coincidence but try turning off your phone/laptop, restarting and see if that works. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

The best solution is to setup and use 2 factor authentication using Google Authenticator rather than OTP.
