Locked Out of My Amazon Account Due to Lost Phone Number – Need Help!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out here because I’m incredibly frustrated and not sure where else to turn. I registered my Amazon account using a Google Voice number, but I no longer have access to that number or the email tied to it. When I tried to log back into my account after a break, I realized I couldn’t because Amazon’s system requires an OTP (one-time password) sent to that number.

Some might argue you don’t need the phone number to log in, but in my case, it’s not possible. Every single attempt to access my account ends with a request for an OTP, and without that number, I’m stuck. I’ve tried everything I can think of, countless attempts, and I still can’t move forward.

On top of that, Amazon wants me to verify my identity through the main admin email, but I can’t even get to that step without the phone number. It feels like I’m trapped in a system that offers no way to speak to someone or get help.

This issue is impacting my business in a big way. I run an Amazon FBA business, and I’ve already sent a lot of inventory to Amazon. Now I can’t access my account to manage anything, and everything is at a standstill because of this.

Has anyone here experienced something similar? How do you even contact someone at Amazon to get this resolved if you can’t log in? Any advice or suggestions would mean the world to me right now.

In addition to @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl's advice and after regaining access, we would suggest setting up the 2 step verification using an authenticator (Google and Microsoft both have one). Doing so will allow you to have the authenticator on a couple of different devices which will lesson the chance that you wouldn't have the ability to login again in the future.
