Anyone ever had their account reinstated with money in it?

I was deactivated 3 years ago with £700+ left in the account which I've never been able to retrieve.

Am I wasting my time appealing - would they rather keep my £700? It seems so.

I appealed many times at the time of suspension 3yrs ago but with no luck.

I've submitted another appeal this week, explaining that I sell a completely different range of items these days and have no interest in selling the products which led to my deactivation 3yrs ago. But they've rejected the appeal and I seem to have received the same reply I got last time, copy and pasted. Which completely ignores everything I said in the most recent appeal about basically starting from scratch with new products.

Generally a lot of suspensions can be successfully appealed, but you have to write an appeal that ticks the boxes Amazon will want to see. I've seen a lot of appeals posted to the forum and very often they miss the main points.

As for the £700, if you aren't aware there's an email address to ask for those funds - disbursement-appeals@amazon.co.uk - which is a separate process from getting the account back.
