does anyone get help from amazon?
We have tried to obtain support on multiple subjects. Most of which if assisted would make Amazon a better platform. From improving listings to getting brand approval they appear to simply and politely not want to help and then close the case. We are about to give up trying but if we are in the wrong we want to know

sounds about right if I’m honest. Getting listings changed is pretty much a fools errand these days.

Simply put, NO.
I have been trying for 2 months to resolve an issue and all I get is that I will be hearing from another department, which I never do.

If our support and response to customer's questions was like Amazon, we would all have our accounts deactivated.
Please can Amazon deactivate itself and have to file a Plan of Action. All of the sellers could review and reject it.
(You have to have a dream to keep you sane on this platform)

Amazon do not give a monkeys about sellers, they are happy enough to take our money for all the sales but should we ask for help you either get generic replies or hung up on or we are passing you to another department to sort your issue yet hear nothing back

You must be joking , you would be better off training up chimps and you would get more success , a company that will make a trillion pound this year and cant afford to employ staff

If you have been here long enough you may have noticed how Amazon language has changed.
Referring to their customer service, as ''our support partner''. Check out the names of the so-called support partners, {used to be our support team}.
It is clear to me that Amazon has outsourced these jobs to faraway countries. It is now mostly one support partner forwarding our queries to another support partner while Amazon is busy making more money.

sometimes they are okay, depending on what the issue is I guess.

I usually ask my Cat. If she knows the answer, then Amazon SS will. If she doesn't, then SS will not either.
... Unfortunately, my Cat is not the most intelligent!

I think the 'support' would like to help but they can not. They are badly trained ( or not at all ) and have no power to actually do anything at all. They just pick the stock answer that they think is nearest to your problem and endlessly repeat it. This must have been brought to the attention of senior management countless times but they simply dont care, because they are making billions from it.
If only they would employ a couple of dozen highly trained and knowledgable people with the power to act semi independantly the platform could be vastly improved almost overnight.

No, nobody gets help from Amazon!
We tend not to bother contacting seller support (laughably called), as you'll get an answer to a question you haven't asked, you'll then message them again, and you'll get a stock answer, that is also wrong. You'll then message them again etc, etc, etc.
If you can get an answer on the forum, or google it, you'll probably save lots of time.
