FBA Shipment/UPS Tracking Not Updated

Hi all

I wonder if anybody can help. I’m fairly new to FBA and a shipment sent on 12/10 has not updated as usual.

On the UPS tracking it is still showing at the label created stage.

While on Amazon it’s in a ‘in transit’ status, it last updated on 14/10 but with no tracking details. Usually it says collected by carrier etc.

It’s a large value shipment and my first experience of any such issues so was just wondering if anyone has seen this before?

Thanks

did you see the UPS guy scan it when he collected it from your address ?

Did UPS pick up the package if so they should have done a collection scan and this should show on the tracking page. If there is nothing showing just label created it suggests they didn’t do a collection scan.

If there is no collection scan you will have no proof the package has been sent and it will be hard to make any claim.

The package may still turn up, sometimes it can take a few days for the tracking to update. Sometimes I find the UPS tracking shows no tracking after the collection scan and then it is received into Amazon anyway. It maybe there was no collection scan but the package is going through the UPS network and nothing is showing on the tracking page.

If you brought your labels through Amazon then unfortunately UPS will not talk to about the package. If you brought them yourself via UPS then you can contact them to discuss the package.

Also where there any other barcodes, especially old UPS labels, on the package which could have been scanned by accident?

I can’t recall if he scanned it in front of me, he sometimes does it in the truck and he’s my regular driver so I guess I kind of assumed it would be scanned (perhaps foolishly).

The only thing that is giving me comfort is the Amazon status changed from Shipment created on 11th Oct to In Transit on 14th Oct.

Would this suggest it is going through the network somewhere?

And no, there were no other labels on it.

Which would suggest to me it’s lost if its not scanned into the first depot off the van

Just had another collection today and I ensured to watch it being scanned and it successfully updated 5 mins or so later on the tracking.

Therefore I can only assume this other shipment has gone missing. Sod’s law that it was my largest value shipment too. I can’t imagine getting this resolved will be straight forward if or at all possible.

Any experiences of this with anyone?
