@Winston_Amazon @Julia_Amzn

Dear Amazon Seller Community,

We are facing an issue during the KYC verification process, where our Wise account is not being accepted, despite the fact that Wise is accepted as a deposit method on Amazon.

We submitted all required documents, but our verification was rejected without a clear explanation. We would appreciate insights from sellers or Amazon representatives regarding the possible reasons for this rejection and the best steps to resolve the issue.

- Has anyone else experienced this with Wise during KYC verification?

- What documents would Amazon require to validate a Wise account successfully?

- If Wise is an approved deposit method, why would it not be accepted for KYC verification?

Any guidance or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful. Looking forward to your advice!

Thank you,

Wise do not hold a UK banking licence so Amazon UK don't recognise them for KYC.

Of the online banks Starling and Monzo do hold full banking licences so are fine with Amazon. Tide is a money service backed by Clearbank so a bit of a halfway house and Revolut have a banking licence with restrictions so again slightly questionable for Amazon.

It is regulated as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. I don't think it has anything to do with Wise not having a UK banking licence.

I use wise for kyc and it works

I did it last month

My question

Did you register your account with LTD or personal?

Then Wise should be the same name as your amazon account

If you register amazon with LTD

You should register Wise with LTD too

Hello @Seller_D4VIO96Fc98n3,

This is Abella from Amazon to assist you.

Thank you for providing details about your account situation. I understand that you have concerns related to "Verification Process".

Verification decisions are based on the information and documentation that we have received from you.

This decision was made based on several potential factors, with the primary concern being our inability to verify your identity in accordance with required legislative standards.

It's important to note that verification failures commonly occur when provided information is either incomplete or inaccurate during the application process.

As we must adhere to strict regulatory requirements for account verification, we cannot move forward without proper and complete documentation that satisfies our compliance obligations.

If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we or any of the sellers on forum can help you.
