UK VAT Return

Hi! If I apply for VAT registration in the UK, what is the chance of getting it? Do I need to start selling goods in the UK (on Amazon) or can I only sell after receiving the VAT?

If I have VAT in the UK, will I be able to transfer invoices for service fee from Amazon (they include VAT) and get a refund of this VAT? If the VAT balance is positive, will it be returned to the bank account?

You really need to do a bit more research into VAT registration, the requirements and implications. If you do not live in UK (which I assume you do not from checking Companies House), but wish to store your goods here in UK for FBA then you MUST be VAT registered in UK. You need to wait for your VAT registration to come through. You can claim back all the VAT you have paid on seller fees and your purchases/business expenses. Once VAT registered you need to submit a VAT return quarterly (ie. every 3 months), and you need to be sure you get it right. I am not VAT registered myself, so please check out what I have said, and I am not an accountant, but I assume any refund will be paid into the account of your Ltd company.
