Promotional rebates or scam?
I just launched my product, it's new and it doesn't have any kind of discount other than the advertising I'm already paying for through PPC... they're candles at 9.99 and they've applied charges randomly on some of them under the concept of "promotional rebates". These charges are 2, 5, 6 and even 9.99 dollars!!! I even get to the point of only getting 0.68 cents in profit or leaving me owing Amazon -3.75 dollars!!! This is totally absurd, there's no pattern and customer service doesn't know how to give me a solution, they just make me wait hours and then say they'll send me an email. I have 200 dollars discounted with this.

I'm bumping this to see if other sellers have encountered and resolved similar issues.
Has anyone else experienced unexpected promotional rebates being applied to their listings? What steps did you take to get it resolved?
