Baby swaddle blankets cpc

discussion.Hello,

I am about to make a purchase of baby swaddle blankets, I am getting it from China and they are providing CPC and CPSC teeth reports.

Will these 2 documents suffice the needs to sell baby blankets on Amazon.ca ?

I am new and listing my first product.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Hi @Seller_Q3U1NgQoNsxrF,

I understand being a new seller on Amazon can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to product compliance and documentation requirements. Let me try to clarify what you need for selling baby swaddle blankets on Amazon.ca.

The CPC (China Compulsory Product Certification) and CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) test reports you mentioned are important documents. However, for baby products like swaddle blankets sold on Amazon.ca, you'll also need to provide a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) approved by Health Canada.

The CPC certifies that your product complies with all Canadian laws and regulations for children's products, including flammability, lead content, phthalates, and product safety labeling requirements. Without a valid CPC, you won't be able to list your baby swaddle blankets for sale on Amazon.ca.

I'd recommend reaching out to your manufacturer or supplier to request a CPC specifically for the Canadian market. They should be able to guide you through the process of obtaining this certification.

Additionally, Amazon has a great resource page on product compliance for selling children's products, which outlines all the requirements: amazon.com/gp/help/G201743970

I hope this helps provide some clarity! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions as you navigate, listing your first product. The Seller Support team is here to assist you throughout the process.
