'Get Paid Faster' - I've enrolled. but my payments are still deferred.

Hello,

I'm looking for some feedback from other sellers, or Amazon Support, re the 'Invoiced by Amazon - Get Paid Faster' service.

I decided to enrol on 9th April for cashflow, and consented to the 1.5% processing fee.

It was my understanding that upon enrolment, payments would be released instantly, as is the case with any standard, non-invoiced order. Yet here I am, 30+ days in, with many order payments 'deferred' with a 30-45 day release scheduled.

In April, I opened a case with SS raising the above query, and was told the following: "as you have opted for "get paid faster" service, all the deferred transactions associated with Invoiced orders will be released on or before the fifteenth day following the applicable invoice due date. Here, Orders - 026-3130977-xxxxxxx and 206-2583872-xxxxxxx are purchased on 9th April 2024 and Order - 205-4915886-xxxxxxx was purchased on 8th April 2024. So, the payments for all the 3 orders will be released within 15 days from the Purchase date (i.e., Within 15 days from 9th April 2024 and 8th April 2024 respectively)."

The above has not applied, I am still awaiting a payment for orders from early April (post enrolment).

I've emailed my concerns to the MD email address twice, but have had no response from them which is quite disappointing, so here I am, turning to the seller forums in hope that I can 1) get some ideas of the experience other sellers have had, 2) establish whether the Get Paid Faster service is worth it, and 3) make other sellers aware that the Get Paid Faster service might not actually be that much faster than the name implies!

Thanks in advance for the replies!

I believe this only refers to getting paid earlier from business buyer sales as they are allowed to pay a month later - it doesnt actually mean you receive all funds quicker I'm afraid.

It does seem like Amazon's payment process could use some improvement compared to eBay's more flexible and speedy system without any extra charge, get paid daily, its faster payments everywhere except amazon and amazon would like to hold the money even after payment email is received, it takes another 5 days for funds to arrive in the bank, I wonder why!
