FBM Order Pending, Out of Stock
Hi,
I have an FBM order that has been Pending for at least a week. During that time period, the SKU that was purchased in that order has gone out of stock.
Once the order goes from "Pending" to "Unshipped", we will have to cancel the order, which goes against our Shipping Performance metrics.
How are we as sellers protected from these situations?

You don't sell items twice; even if it's in pending.
Are you selling on multiple platforms? If so, that can make it difficult to keep the inventory synced, but the responsibility is on you to do so, or take the hit when you don't.
If I was selling a product over multiple platforms, I would probably not have every one in the Available inventory, just to help prevent such an occurrence.
