Document number

My publisher has just retired, so I am doing the selling of my book. I have read all your selling notes and am still having difficulty in uploading my first invoice. When uploading an invoice where do I find the document number? I have to get this right as I have other books I want to put on amazon.

The document number is the number you are giving it based on however you number your invoices.

You only need to upload an invoice if the order is marked as from a Business Customer, (or the buyer requests one), you do not need to for every order.
Unless you are VAT registered and use Amazon’s VCS (VAT Calculation Service) you will need to create your own invoice.
Many of us use www.invoice-generator.com.
