CUSTOMER CLAIMS THEY DIDNT RECIEVE THE PACKAGE!!!!!!!!

Honestly the amount of scamming customers on this website is unreal! Why do amazon automatically keep refunding on A-Z claims because the customer says they didn't receive it however we all know they got the package!

This order will not effect my defect rate as we provided valid tracking proof of delivery however they have granted a refund because the customer claims it was not delivered.

Are amazon that stupid to believe this? iv getting around 15 to 20 packages a week where the postman has left the package in a safe place either under a mat or behind a bin and almost 99% of the time the customer opens a A-Z claim saying they didn't get it and a refund granted.

Because they can on Amazon. Unfortunately customers don't see it as stealing they just think they are get a freebie.

I think certain type of products along with higher priced items attract scammers more than others, on one of my product lines the number of INR's are a lot more than my other lines.

It doesn't help as Royal Mail don't always scan Royal Mail 24/48/1st/2nd on delivery.

I have just renegotiated my tracked rates with RM and I am now in a position to move the items with high INR's over to a fully tracked service which I hope will stop some of the issues I have .

Amazon Upsort here.

Congratulations, your recent encounter with our highly valued customer has resulted in zero defects. How good is that? Many sellers would be honoured to have zero defects bestowed on them. It's just like winning the lottery and Euro millions at the same time (without the money).

Just one tiny, insignificant, barely worth mentioning thing, but I suppose we should - you have lost both the money plus our fees and the goods. But, hey, you have zero defects, so you win, we win, partaaay 🎈🏆🍸✨🔨

Same here, they are doing it on purpose so sellers would use FBA instead of letting us send our orders on our own.

I am already thinking of closing down my store which I recently opened because of this.

The tracking number indicates - DELIVERED, The Royal Mail postman uploaded a picture, of handing a package to the person, and the shipping label matches the order page.

My appeal decision: "Delivery and the tracking information you provided was either insufficient or the order was not actually received by the customer."

What else I can do to provide sufficient information? Go to his house, kick out the door, and search his property for my delivered package? Even that wouldn't be enough I guess.

If you try to contact someone in customer service, you won't get any help, as it seems they are hiring NPCs instead of humans.

They are out of their minds, in the last month, I was scammed like this at least 5 times.

If your FBM try putting a label on the package saying "DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED" works for us.

honestly same issue, a bit of a joke especially when you pay for tracking services which show that they have been delivered

We sell on Amazon and eBay same number of orders approx. same products same shipping method. We have had 2 orders not arrive on eBay in 6 months we have had 6 customers this week alone claiming orders not arrived. Need to rename the site Scamazon.com

Amazon don't care at all, they get money when we sell, they get even more money when we give a refund. Worse still is they send emails to customers letting them know their orders have not arrived so they can claim a refund.

I know if someone sends me a messgae 2 or 3 weeks after the order, that Amazon have had a hand in it. My orders arrive within 2 days usually the next day, so it is extremely rare for anyone to not have sent me a message enquiring where their order is within a couple of days of it being late, no way would people wait weeks. I then put them on the naughty list!

I wanted to share some recommendations to help reduce delivery issues:

Signature on Delivery:

For non-FBA shipments, where possible, please opt for the signature on delivery option. This will greatly help reduce delivery-related issues/ less A-Z claims!

DPD: Signature on delivery is included by default.

Royal Mail: Use the tracked service with signature to ensure secure delivery.

EVRI: You can pay a little extra for a signature on delivery, which means A-Z claims cannot be opened for non-delivery, increasing the likelihood of resolving any issues.

Please note that the signature on delivery option is not suggested for FBA shipments as the process is different.

its simple, amazon don't care as its not their money or goods. if you can prove delivery take the buyer to small claims

How can they leave in safe places for age verified deliveries? or is other stuff theyre leaving? I'd have hoped that stopped you being subject to the issues
