Brand approval rejected, I am the Brand owner

Hey guys.

So i have some old unique products only sold by my brand which I personally am not selling anymore.
I have someone that wants to sell the stock on amazon instead of me.

I’ve added them as a USER ROLE to our brand and all details match his seller account details.

Upon trying to list our product it says you need approval from our brand.

I’ve contaced amazon and said I approve, they can’t help.
He’s contacted from his account saying I approve. They deny him.

We both have open cases and link to eachothers case constantly but for some reason they keep saying they need my approval but there is no method I know of, to actually give me approval.

What do I have to do to ensure they can list my brand name products?

Thank you

You need to link his seller account ( seller token id) to your brand via Brand registry, open a case in Brand registry with technical support, and also in your seller account, ask them to authorise the other seller ( with his seller token) on your brand, - Reference the cases in both threads.

I’m going to be honest with you, what you are doing is a bad idea, because the only way this is going to work, is you giving this other person legal rights to manufacture ( an importer is classed as the manufacturer for all intents and purposes) and sell your branded products retail ( all of them, you can’t pick and choose on Amazon) if it all goes belly up at some point you won’t have any recourse, as he will have everything he needs to rebuff Amazon’s questions.

If it were me, I would be selling the design ( I’m sure it’s the next big thing worth millions judging by the worthless stock in an old shed and then the skip) and telling him to rebrand it using all the information from the listing before you agree to delete the old one, it’s very easily done and it isn’t incredibly difficult to get a good product off the floor, despite all the horror and doom stories on here.

By tying yourself to him your way, it’s a car crash waiting to happen.

FYI - you won’t get much better by way of help or information on here than @The_Little_Shop who is a million times more patient than I am for the dreamers and lepers of the forum, so don’t bite the hand, it isn’t personal, but nobody can help when you are so vague with details, trust me, nobody wants to steal your product, it’s already proving so very difficult for you to give it away!

If the other seller hasnt sold anything else, would it may be worth them getting 10 units of something from another wholesaler to get a selling history and trying again?

The same issue here with the Amazon brand registry has been removed after a few years. I registered two brands on Amazon in 2013 and two more brands in 2017. All were removed from the trademark registry a few days ago. Dealing with the brand registry team is a nightmare. I am the sole brand owner and seller of the products and own the UK-registered trademark of all brands. Amazon has removed my access to the Brand Page and I can no longer create new listings. Amazon has demanded a contract with my supplier in order to look into my appeal. Basically, they needed my supplier’s contact details. The worst thing is amazon has already copied one of my best seller product design and now they are the main competitor.
