Urgent: Lost Buy Box on All Listings for 3 Days – Sales Dropped from 250 to 20 Orders
Hi Amazon Seller Community,
I’m reaching out urgently because I’ve completely lost the Buy Box on all of my listings for the past 3 days, and my sales have plummeted from around 250 orders per day to just 20. This sudden drop is severely impacting my business.
Here’s what I’ve confirmed about my account and listings:
My price is the lowest (including shipping)
Account Health is strong – 96% positive feedback
I’m enrolled in Seller-Fulfilled Prime (SFP) and displaying the Prime badge
Consistently meet SFP performance requirements (on-time shipping, delivery speed, low cancellation rate, etc.)
Despite all this, I’m not winning the Buy Box anywhere. I’ve checked for listing errors, inventory issues, or policy violations—but haven’t found anything obvious.
Has anyone else experienced this sudden, across-the-board Buy Box loss? Could it be a temporary algorithm shift, a hidden performance metric, or increased FBA competition? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks so much in advance—this is critical for my business right now.

Have you got an issue with your repricing software perhaps? I've just looked at a snapshot of three of your listings and your price is much higher than the buy box price:
B0C7G489P3 buy box £6.75 your price £24.99
B0FQPGV1NW (size 9) buy box £65 your price £104.99
B003OIDSZE buy box £11.99 your price £29.99
No SFP badge either.

Hi @Seller_dAKtCUFMQldUx
Had pretty much the exact same thing around 3 Oct.
Impossible as mainly our own brand with no other seller, sales dropped to the lowest of the year in what is our peak period.
We were at 50% of previous weeks all of the listing are FBA.
Buy Box came back after 3 or so days to correct levels and sales seem to be partially recovering but only in the last 2 days.
We checked traffic (sessions) etc and saw a huge drop that was so out of the ordinary even support eventually agreed but no fix.
Not sure I can add anything but genuinely believe it is something that changed in Amazon backend affecting us hopefully it comes back for you quickly but I would look at all your traffic numbers and see if there is a significant drop for the 3 days you mention.

Yes, my sales are way down, only if it's cheap or Amazon is getting the sales, even advertising is not working, which means no one is buying
Reduce your prices or wait it out

Looking at the listings you mentioned (B0DKTJ22QN & B0DXF16473), your issue is your delivery dates.
On both of those listings your delivery date is showing as 20th to 22nd October whereas the one winning the buy box is 17th October for B0DKTJ22QN and 18th October for B0DXF16473 (at the time of writing this reply).
In my experience, if you want to compete for the buy box and your delivery date is slower, you need to be significantly cheaper than your competitor so 1p cheaper won't cut it. You need to be a few pounds cheaper.
As a side note, your SFP isn't showing either for those two listings. When you look at the list of sellers, it has your customer service as being provided by you and not Amazon.

Hello, Seller. I recently encountered the same issue as you—all shopping carts disappeared simultaneously. I contacted Seller Support, and they confirmed all store metrics are normal. It's been 8 days with no resolution. We've ruled out all possible causes but still can't find a solution. Have your shopping carts been restored? If you have any effective methods, please share them. Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. The current situation where no shopping carts exist for all ASINs is extremely disruptive. Thank you—this is critical for our ongoing business operations.

We lost the buy box of our own brand's product that nobody else sells. Perfect metrics. That was over a year ago. Down 90+% with no way to resolve. Sorry man, this place sucks.

Hello @Seller_dAKtCUFMQldUx,
Have you raised a case with Seller Support? If so, you can share the case ID here as well as a list of the ASINs that lost the Buy Box.
I will then forward it to the Buy Box team for a review.
Regards, Spencer

Hi TechStyleuk: Is your shopping cart issue still unresolved? We've been missing our shopping cart for over ten days now. Every time we contact the seller's customer service, their responses are overly formal and they insist we keep waiting. This is extremely frustrating. We've filed multiple support tickets, but the issue remains unresolved. It's disheartening to see our order volume decrease day by day while our losses continue to grow.
