Handmade.. true handmade by1 person, me, and not bought in from a mass production line like other supposed "Handmade"sellers I have researched !!
As a new handmade seller (Brand Registered in UK) all sourced and handmade by me in UK after alot of research I decided Etsy is not the way to go but Amazon... I spend more in advertising...make sales but the ppc has taken all my profits... I have spent hundreds of hours looking at strategies for ppc advertising.. worked out my profits, I'm giving away my product and paying to give it away... is this the future of Etsy, Amazon, or any other store?? Seems that way to me"

Etsy is already like this now. You can see the same mass produced items on Etsy that are on here

I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, @Seller_ljKjG8OClaAej.
While I don't have direct insights into your advertising strategy and sales, I'd like to share a few suggestions that may help optimize your advertising results:
1. Start with Automatic Targeting: Run an automatic campaign for 2+ weeks to gather conversion data and learn which search terms work.
2. Analyze Performance: Download your Search Term Report:
- Go to Advertising → Campaign Manager → Advertising Reports
- Select "Search term" report type
- Identify top performers (high clicks + sales, reasonable CPC)
3. Move to Manual Targeting: Create manual campaigns using your best-performing keywords for better control and reduced wasted spend.
4. Monitor Key Metrics ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales): Ad spend ÷ attributed sales. Lower is better, but higher ACoS can be worthwhile if it improves organic ranking and drives non-ad sales.
For direct assistance with your campaigns, I'd recommend opening a case with the Ads Support Team by logging into the Ads Console and clicking Contact Us.
If you have questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out on the Seller Forums.
See you around,
Jameson

You’ve clearly done a lot of homework already. I’d be curious about one number before changing more campaigns: what’s your true break-even ACoS after Amazon fees, materials, and the time it takes you to make the product? If that number is very low, the issue may not be PPC alone — the product economics might simply leave too little room for paid traffic. Roughly what ACoS are you seeing now versus break-even?
