Changing Ltd Company name
i am wanting to change my Ltd company name, not for any reason other than I dont like current name. wanting to know how easy/hard this is going to be and ideally what docs i should have to hand if anyone can advise? same as when went from Sole to LTd? easier?
also, i am on Handmade @ amazon and originally got my products under my brand automatically.......i believe this is no longer the case to happen automatically and its quite tough to get it to happen?.............would my changing my legal entity name mean that my brand name would automatically change (hopeful!).....that they would all go to "GENERIC" or they would remain under old name?

We changed our company name last year. I can't remember exactly what we did (that's a good thing, as it shows it must have been straightforward) on Seller Central, but as far as I remember we went to settings > Account info > Business Information > Identity Information, then changed the name. At some point I had to upload the Change of Name PDF from Companies House, then it was verified very quickly.
I don't believe the brand on your products will change at all, although we don't do Handmade, so don't quote me on that.

You can update your business information by going to Seller Central > Account Info > Business Information.
