A-Z Claim Fvaoured to Buyer when item was not returned back to us

Hi

My customer was returning an item back to us, the courier failed to deliver and the customer opened a A-Z Claim, Amazon offers the claim in the buyers favour.

When i appealed the decision showing screenshots that it hasn't been delivered, Amazon have stated they withold the original decision as tracking shows it was returned.

Yep, I've just had the exact same thing happen. Surely Amazon should take responsibility for this and claim against Royal Mail for the missing package.

The refund does not bother me too much, it's the fact that it's raised my ODR.
