They shouldn't do it, but the floodgates on this issue opened years ago. At this point the floodgates are in the middle of the Pacific.
Unless the brand name owner is brand registered and is prepared to do log violations through brand registry - not a lot amazon will do.

Unfortunately, we saw a similar issue like 7/8 years ago. Someone putting their own name as the brand. I contacted amazon about this multiple times, for like 2 years and nothing got done, so we gave up. Amazon is a complete joke and has been for years
