Deferred Payments – Release Date Passed but Funds Still Withheld?

Hi all,

Is anyone else seeing issues with deferred payments not being released, even after the expected release date?

A large portion of my disbursements are marked as deferred, which I know can happen. But a few of them have passed their listed release dates, and the funds are still being held. My account health looks fine, and support hasn’t given a clear answer.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Did your funds eventually clear?

How long after the release date?

Any idea what might trigger these extended delays?

Would appreciate any insight.

Thanks!

Hi LAVAEL,

I Think that if you go to Payments Dashboard / Transactiion View, the Dates shown against the transactions are the Latest Ship By Dates and are not the Latest-Delivery-Date on which DDE+7 is based...

So you have to wait a few more days before they're released (and then some more before they hit your bank)

Hope this helps

All Best

Hello! @Seller_fO1xsRXwtknKx

Thank you for using the Forums. @Seller_19xPhE8YgkmxWhas provided you with relevant information to the issue you described, keep in mind the following:

What is a deferred transaction? "How long are funds reserved?

Funds will be reserved until a shipment has been delivered, plus a reserve period. The standard reserve period is seven days after delivery date (“DD+7” reserve policy). For example, if you sell something on January 1, and it is delivered on January 6, then under the DD+7 policy, your funds will become available for disbursement starting on January 14.

Your reserve period may be extended following an assessment of your overall risk and historical performance."

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Roberto

I am also having issues with deferred payments, it appears to me be because I was behind with sending out to customers invoices. I have sent invoices to all my customers who had not recieved an invoice, but my funds have still not been released.

I am a smaller trader and as a consequence I don't have monies to buy more stock etc. I don't know how to stop the deferred payments, any advice would be useful. For me quite a lot of money is being held back.

Many thanks
