Introducing Quick Tips
Hi everyone! Happy national croissant day!
I would like to introduce the Quick Tips category being launched February 1st!
This category has been created to share posts that answer some of the common questions we have noticed being asked on the forum about selling on Amazon. Be sure to check out the first post on Wednesday!
What topics about selling on Amazon would you like to see us to post about in the future? We will do our best to share as much information as we can, where we can.
Thanks!
Jessica

Crikey, Jessica, this could end up being a very long list lol.
Well, the moot topics on the forum at present (and always, really) are A-Z’s and returns. Might be a good place to start?

Definitely the issues of lost returns and who to claim from ie amazon or evri
And the reoccurring issue of individual account v individual selling plan
A straightforward guide to save @JillyB1 retyping it over and over
And as it is national croissant day, it would be rude not to

Yes, 100% the issue of new sellers understanding the differences between account types and selling plans - but to be honest, I feel the fault lies with the initial sign-up/registration process, as too many new sellers simply click on the big orange ‘Sign Up’ button, and then wonder why they have been charged £30 for the Pro. plan., and there is not really clear explanation of the differences, especially with the dual use of the name ‘Individual’ for two different things - but you know this as has been mentioned SO many times before, and the suggestion made to change at least one of them.
Someone a while ago suggested that the sign-up process should be in the form of a flow-chart so that new sellers take the correct ‘route’ to the type of account they need - it would save a huge amount of problems and stress.
Also agree with the issue of A-Z claims - especially those being opened by CS on behalf of the customer, without the knowledge of the seller, and without the customer contacting the seller first.

Hi all!
Many thanks for the suggestions, they are appreciated Some of the ones you have mentioned are in the plan and others will give us something to think about and work on. If you think of any others please do let me or the other mods know!
Thanks again!

Not really a hint or tip, but a gripe from a thread today.
Why should anyone that has not actually purchased the item be allowed to leave a review ? - surely open to the system being abused by competitor sellers.

Some sort of basic guide in regard to vat registration, both here in the UK and the EU would be useful.
Along with the definition of what a NETP is.
So many sellers from outside the country, just don’t get this at all and as consequence, will end up with a large vat bill.
