Anyone else having delivery issues with USPS ground advantage?
For many years we shipped our inventory items weighing less than 1lb via USPS First Class Mail with very few problems, now that USPS ground advantage has replaced that service, we have had nothing but problems. To put that into perspective, we are barely 10 weeks into the new year and we have already had as many delivery issues as we had at the half way point last year. Problems include, Order marked delivered but not recieved, lost or damaged in transit, as well as numerous carrier delays resulting in late deliveries. We have been lucky thus far in winning all of our A to Z claims but are concerned if problems continue at this rate Amazon will find a way to make this our fault or try to force us to use a premium shipping option which we cannot do with these items and still maintain our margins. What the bleep is going on?

Yeah, the USPS has been pretty rough lately. I have one right now that has just been sitting at the ST LOUIS MO PACKAGE SORTING CENTER since March 4th. The buyer has expressed concern that they haven't received the package and need it soon. In addition, the USPS scanned the package as delivered instead of accepted initially, and so the buyer was informed their package had been delivered when in reality it had just been accepted. A comedy of errors on the part of the USPS.

We have a great one on one relationship with our local USPS b/c we ONLY ship FBM - USPS like most businesses that rely on humans for 'final mile' (like trucking) are hurting to fill the positions. The positions are not ones I would want for the pay check and working conditions they are subjected to. (perhaps some of the new immigrants could be put to work and add to the work force to pay taxes and into the 'socialist programs' offered to 'Americans'?) - The great idea that DeJoy has for trying to take the USPS private sure seems to be on track by making sure morale is low and mail is service is something to complain about to your Congress-persons (brilliant move)

@Seller_Vjsbsz072tb7D Thanks for checking in with that update on recent USPS issues. I am in regular contact with our shipping teams and share this kind of feedback with them.
Our shipping teams work closely with USPS and other carriers to monitor and account for weather events or more longterm disruptions to transportation networks, in order to provide the most accurate transit times for shipping services.
You can monitor any such disruptions on the USPS dashboard:
