Creating a new product detail page for existing ASIN
Hi, I'm wanting to sell a branded item that's already listed on Amazon and has an ASIN. However, I do not like the product detail page that has been set up for that product. The pictures aren't great and the information is sparse. Therefore, I wanted to create a new product detail page with my own pictures and information. Is this possible?

Creating a duplicate detail page is a violation. The correct way is to get the present detail page fixed.
It is an uphill battle.

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand you want to create a new ASIN for a listing that is already on Amazon. As others have stated, this is a policy violation as stated here. If the information is incorrect, you can create a case to Selling Partner Support to have the information updated, however, if the ASIN is in Brand Registry, only the brand owner can update the listing. If you contact Selling Partner Support, be sure to include a link to the manufacturers website along with what information needs to be updated.
