Changing bank details without getting suspended
Hi,
I have just opened a transferwise account for my EU sales. The last time I changed my bank details my account was suspended for a few hours.
What is the best way to go about changing the bank details without resulting in a suspension?
Thanks

Make sure all the details are 100% correct when you submit them. I changed our bank account last month on all UK and EU marketplaces without issue. They do put a temporary (3 day?) hold on fund dispersal of course.

I’ve changed my bank details to Transferwise a month ago, there were no issues or suspension. You just need to enter your previous IBAN as a verification and then there is a hold for few days.

Us too changed our details and as both above said no issues as long as all matches your account details!

Hello,
I’m using Transferwise as well and I had that 2-3 days suspension but that was all.
It’s a better option for me because, being from Romania, I had lots of fees and taxes to pay whenever I received any money from Amazon (didn’t matter if I used a EUR account or $) and TransferWise it’s a much better option for people like me .
Just follow the required steps and everything will be fine, don’t worry.

So I have updated Spain first as this is my quietest channel. Had a notification saying that funds would be on hold for 3 days but no suspension as of yet and my listings are still live. Looking good so far. Will update the other countries in a couple of hours.

I have been told by someone who works for Amazon that this happens when you update your bank details within 2-3 days before a disbursement.
If you do so after a disbursement, he claimed it shouldn’t trigger any kind of a suspension.

I updated all the bank details yesterday afternoon. I thought all was well until 9.30 last night, I just happened to open my email a few minutes after I received the notification from Amazon Germany:
“We suspect that unauthorized persons have accessed your seller account at Amazon.de. Therefore, we have temporarily restricted access to your account and disabled your offers.”
I tried to login to seller central but my password did not work. I reset the password and that let me in. I had to reactivate all my listings on Amazon DE. All my bank information, including bank details for Amazon UK which I did not even change, had been removed from the system. I have had to enter all my bank details again from scratch into each marketplace.
My next disbursement is not due until the 21st, I don’t know why this always happens to me

I just dealt with changing my bank details. This is how I managed it without triggering verification
